The daily number of Covid-19 infections in India is continuing to fall.
New Delhi: India’s daily count of Covid-19 cases declined further as the country reported 67,597 new possibilities in the past 24 hours.
Based on the latest data released from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday (February 8, 2022) early in the morning, India’s active coronavirus number has dropped to 9,94,891.
The number of tests was 13,46,534 had been conducted over the past 24 hours.
The daily positive rate is 5.02 percent as of the week, and the weekly positive rate has decreased to 8.30 percent.

The country also witnessed 1,80,456 new recoveries in addition to 1,188 death between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
In the meantime, the coronavirus-related cases worldwide have reached 39.7 million, and the deaths have increased to over 57 lakhs in the opinion of Johns Hopkins University.
However, the US is still the country most affected, having the highest number of cases, at 7,68,48,718 with deaths of 9,05,521.
The second-worst country hit in terms of cases in India with more than 4.2 crore illnesses and 5,02874 deaths. She was followed by Brazil, which has reported 2,66,161,014 infections and 6,32946 deaths.
