The Elden Ring Patch will fix problems with PS5 saves: From Software’s new RPG has been getting great reviews, and many people are playing early on. Yet even that can’t stop the fact that From Software games don’t run well when they first come out. Everywhere in the world, Elden Ring is now for sale.
Elden Ring has a lot of problems right out of the gate, and there’s no way to know when they’ll fix it. Bandai Namco has said that a fix is coming for Elden Ring, but it hasn’t said which one. For a problem on PS5 that stops saves from going through, this is what you need to do.
As of Friday morning, an update from Bandai Namco said that FromSoftware is working hard to fix all of the problems that Elden Ring is having. This is one of the essential things that Bandai Namco talked about.
There is a problem with the PS5 and save files. The bug will happen if PS5 Elden Ring users “unexpectedly” turn off the console while playing or when the PS5 is in rest mode. Player progress will lost because Elden Ring won’t save correctly.
For example, if a PS5 player turns off their console for the night. They might think an auto-save will keep them safe. They might not be correct, though. The game doesn’t permanently save when the console is turned off. I think Rest Mode is good.
Turning off the console isn’t good. Bandai Namco wants everyone who plays Elden Ring to make sure they get good saves by going into the game menu and clicking “Quit Game.” Isn’t it clear that there is a bug in the game that could impact players in ways we don’t know about yet? It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Soon, From Software will be able to figure out what’s wrong with the game and come up with a fix. However, there isn’t yet a date for that patch to come out. They say that it’s being worked on. Also, the mouse on the PC is too sensitive, and Easy Anti-Cheat doesn’t work for Steam users.
These problems will fix soon. Even though Bandai Namco hasn’t said anything about performance patches yet, it’s clear that that’s something they’re going to work on.
Elden Ring a game made by From Software down to the very end. The game will be challenging but exciting, and the world will be beautiful and mysterious, but there will be a lot of bugs and poor optimization.
Elden Ring is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. You can also get it on Xbox One.
