The Falcon and the Winter Soldier reveals how Sam become Captain America.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is another successful web series in the Marvel franchise. As only the second TV show in the MCU to see the light of day, it was critically successful and loved by fans. Disney and Hotstar are premiering this successful web series.
Created by Malcolm Spellman and directed by Kari Skogland, the show featured Sam Wilson or Falcon (Anthony Mackie), former para-rescuer and current superhero, assisting the US military on their missions caring for Captain America’s legacy. He later makes a team with Bucky Barnes or Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) to take down the anarchist group Flag-Smashers.
A new behind-the-scenes feature of the show is available and reveals the VFX secrets behind the mask. Among other things, Falcon and Winter Soldier were praised for their cinematic-level visuals and action sequences. His elaborately staged images could rival any big-budget summer blockbuster.
The show’s visual effects supervisor, Eric Leven, says his goal was to show off the high-octane action but basing it on reality in the sense that the fights and explosions felt authentic.
This is most evident in the show’s opening sequences that set the tone for the action. At the scene, Sam chased down some fleeing terrorists in a hijacked plane. The location was packed with fast-paced action as Sam flies at supersonic speed through cannons, explosions, and CGI that mixes well with practical effects.
The clip also shows the action sequences in the ending and how Sam became Captain America.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier airs on Disney + Hotstar Premium.
