The roadmap for Between Us 2022 reveals new roles and collaborations: The social deduction game Among Us still has many additional improvements with plans for its future. Studio Innersloth has announced an updated schedule for the game, revealing what players can expect to see in 2022.
A significant overhaul came out in November 2021, and it came with Cosmicubes. The support of 15 players, and new roles such as The Shapeshifters.
The 2022 road map includes Friend Lists, as well as updates to the quality of life as “Coming shortly.”

Friends’ List will let players connect with their Crewmates that they are playing with, which is a feature that many players have been asking for since the game began to gain in popularity in the year 2020.
A blog on the Among Us blog states that updating the quality of life will help improve the UX to make certain features easier to understand, such as Cosmicube redemption or chat selection.
More roles, cubes, and the Hide’n’Seek gameplay mode have been listed as “Plans” on the road map. But there is no specific date for when they’ll release.
The blog also notes that Map 5 is still part of Among Us’ future. And is why Innersloth has not included it in the “Plans” section of the roadmap.
The blog also addresses the future Among Us products, including Crewmate Nendoroids and a single-shot manga story.
Another aspect of “Plans” is that Among Us will be part of other collaborations shortly.
The first significant collaboration of Innersloth has been with Riot Games to bring Arcane cosmetics to the Among Us.
Innersloth will then join forces in conjunction with Paramount Studios to create a video that features the cast of “Scream” (2022) performing Among Us, with a Ghostface cosmetic added to the game.
