The Stanford women’s soccer player was found dead on campus at 22 aged. 

An 18-year-old woman who played women’s soccer for Stanford has been found dead on campus. She was found at the California university at age 22.

Meyer, the goalkeeper and captain of her team died on campus. The university said there was no danger to other students at this time, but the cause of death is still unknown.

International relations and history major helped Stanford win a national title in 2019.

‘She was a huge team player in everything she did, from choosing an academic discipline that changed her perspective on the world and the important challenges that we need to work together to overcome to the passion she brought to the Cardinal women’s soccer program and women’s sports in general,’ Stanford said in a statement. This is what her friends say about her.

Those who were hurt by Meyer’s death can get help from the university.

In a statement, Bernard Muir, the athletic director of Stanford, said that there are no words to express how sad we are about Katie Meyer’s death.

When Katie came to Stanford, she was an outstanding student-athlete. She was also a trendy and passionate leader. Everyone in the athletics world will sorely miss Katie.

Meyer’s sister, Sam Perez, also took to Instagram to support her brother.

‘No, there are no words.’ Instagram is where Perez wrote about the event on Instagram.

‘Thank you for all the kindness you’ve shown to my family. Unfortunately, I’m not ready to post anything that big just yet. It hurts us to lose Kat, but we love her so much.
