The UK will send more Arms to Ukraine, including artillery guns and anti-tank missiles.
As part of the most recent Western armament shipment to Ukraine, Britain will provide dozens of artillery pieces and more than 1,600 anti-tank weapons, according to Defense Secretary Ben Wallace on Thursday.
The increase comes after British Prime Minister Boris Johnson pledged an additional $1,2 billion in military assistance last month.
It makes the total amount of UK support to Ukraine since the war’s inception, which Russia refers to as a “special operation,” $1,3 billion “in pounds, to 2.3 billion.
“With the help of our international allies, we’ll make sure Ukraine has the resources necessary to defend itself against Putin’s illegitimate invasion, “According to Wallace’s statement.
Wallace said Britain would also send hundreds of drones, more than 50,000 rounds of ammunition, and counter-battery radar equipment.
