A thin layer of fog envelops Delhi, visibility affected
People in Delhi woke up to another misty morning on Sunday with a thin layer of fog engulfing parts of the national capital, reducing visibility here, disrupting the movement of traffic. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, today at 5:30 am a visibility of 500 meters was recorded in the Palam area of Delhi.
In a series of tweets, the meteorological department reported that dense to very dense fog was recorded in some locations over Punjab and in isolated locations over Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh, while moderate fog was recorded in isolated locations over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi . , Saurashtra and Kutch, Bihar and Gangetic West Bengal.
