Kohli's 100th test match

In the first Test between India and Sri Lanka, Virat Kohli’s 100th match, the game will be played in front of spectators instead of behind closed doors.

Jay Shah, the head of the BCCI, said on Tuesday that cricket fans would see Kohli play his 100th Test match.

“The first Test between India and Sri Lanka will not be held behind closed doors,” Shah said in a statement.

It’s a decision made by State Cricketing Associations, and in the current situation, that decision is based on many different things.

I’ve talked to the PCA’s office bearers, and they say that cricket fans will be able to see Virat Kohli play his 100th Test match.

People could watch the white-ball series between India and the West Indies because COVID-19 cases in India have gone down.

In Kolkata, fans could go and watch the games, but in Dharamsala, there were no fans because there were elections the next day.

In Virat Kohli’s 100th Test, I can’t wait to see how he does. I hope he does well.

We want our fans to enjoy this. May he keep representing the country in many more games to come.

The PCA also said that spectators would watch the Test match.

“The BCCI has told us that we can go ahead with a 50% crowd for the next Test match.” There will be 50 percent crowd space, said BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal.

“We are now making the necessary arrangements,” said PCA treasurer RP Singla on Tuesday.

A long time ago, the decision was made that Kohli’s important Test would be held behind closed doors.

It led to many people saying that the BCCI didn’t do enough to honor the current superstar of Indian cricket.

Singla said last week that spectators would not be allowed because the BCCI had told them not to because there were still new COVID-19 cases in and around Mohali, so they would not be allowed in.

The PCA also decided to congratulate Kohli for having played 100 Tests. There have been 99 Tests in which Kohli has scored 7962 runs at an average of 50.39.
