Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi and the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), will start a two-day trip to Gujarat today.
Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, under investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) about the former excise policy of the AAP administration, will accompany Mr. Kejriwal.
On Monday, the AAP leaders will go to Ahmedabad and give a town hall speech at Himmatnagar. On Tuesday, they will also go to a town hall gathering in Bhavnagar.
“Manish ji and I will go to Gujarat on Monday for two days to ensure access to healthcare and education. Gujarat will have top-notch schools, top-notch hospitals, and Mohalla clinics, much like Delhi. Everyone will get free, high-quality education and care. People will feel relieved, and we’ll engage with kids “According to Mr. Kejriwal’s tweet.
A day after conducting searches at several locations and searching Mr. Sisodia’s house in connection with the suspected corruption in executing Delhi’s Excise Policy, Mr. Kejriwal made his announcement.
Mr. Kejriwal made several promises to the state’s residents on a previous trip to north Gujarat, including free energy and improved healthcare.
