In the past, the High Court had put off its decision on some petitions against the ban on the hijab in schools.
Before that, three judges, including Chief Justice Ritu Raj Awasthi, Justice Krishna S Dixit, and Justice JM Khazi, were hearing many petitions against the ban on the hijab in schools.
It started in January of this year when some students at the Government Girls PU College in the Udupi district of Karnataka said that they had been banned from going to class.
Some students said they had turned away from the college during the protests because they wore a hijab.
After this, students from different colleges wore Saffron stoles who came to Shanteshwar Education Trust in Vijayapura.
The same thing happened in a lot of schools in the Udupi area.
