Surrey and England bowler Tom Curran will be out for about four months due to an injury
to the lower part of his back.
Curran 26 return from his time at the Big Bash in December, and scans have confirm the
severity of the injuries.
Surrey stated that Curran is not ready for the T20 Blast, expected to start in the summer
or early summer.
The 26-year-old had been omitted from England’s 16 player team of 16 players for the
Twenty20 match in the West Indies series West Indies, which starts in the middle of this
month.
The younger Curran brother Sam was disqualified from his participation in the T20 World
Cup and Ashes due to a back strain injury last year’s fall.
Tom was a fixture player in England, white-ball teams, over the last few times, playing in
one-day internationals for 28 and Twenty20s.
