The statement is similar to that of activist and lawyer Nikita Jacob, who requested the circulation of her request for advance traffic bail on Monday morning before the PD Naik court of law.

“Shantanu has transferred the Aurangabad bank from the Bombay High Court in search of advance transit bond; matter to be heard tomorrow, ” said Satej Jadhav, Shantanu’s lawyer.

Hours earlier, Delhi police said climate activist Disha Ravi together with Mumbai lawyer Nikita Jacob and Pune-based engineer Shantanu created the “toolkit” related to farmers’ unrest and shared it with others to tarnish the image of India.

Police claimed that Disha Ravi, who was arrested on Saturday from Bengaluru, sent the “toolkit” to teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg via the Telegram app, and also “convinced her to act.”

The data was also removed, police said, adding that Disha’s Telegram account shows that many links related to the “toolkit” were removed.

This comes hours after 21-year-old climate activist Disha Ravi was placed in pre-trial detention for five days by Delhi police. Disha Ravi was arrested on Saturday for her alleged involvement in sharing a ‘toolkit’ related to the farmer’s protest on social media.

The “toolkit”, a common term used by social activists for campaign material, was first tweeted by Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg in support of protesting farmers in India on 4 February.

Earlier this month, Cyber Cell had filed an FIR against the “pro-Khalistan” creators of the “toolkit” for waging a “social, cultural and economic war against the Government of India.” The case has been registered on charges of criminal conspiracy, sedition and various other sections of the Indian Penal Code.
