Again in a Tornado hit West Bengal. It destroyed part of Narayangarh in Paschim Medinipur. Building shed flew to hundreds of houses and also collapsed.
According to local sources, the sky was suddenly covered with black clouds in Purichak mouza of Narayangarh block around 10 am. The storm became strong.
However, the tornado lasted a few minutes. But in the turmoil of the moment, Madan Mohan Chowk of Purichak was devastated. The shop collapsed. The plants are uprooted.
Hundreds of houses collapsed, causing panic in the area. Several districts have been inundated with rains since Monday night. West Midnapore is no exception.
In the meanwhile, the whole area became dusty due to the tornado. A few days ago, a part of the Basirhat area was hit by a similar tornado.
We saw cloudy skies throughout the day on Wednesday. Heavy rains have flooded part of Bengal since the beginning of the week. Light rain is also falling.
The meteorological department forecasts that the situation may improve from Thursday.
However, the meteorological department has warned of the upcoming cyclone in West Bengal over the weekend. There is a possibility of rain again in South Bengal next week.

The meteorological department fears that a new cyclone will form in the North Bay on Friday, which will move north-west and west towards Orissa and Bengal coast on Saturday-Sunday.
