Tottenham Sign Richarlison From Everton:Richarlison was officially signed by Tottenham on Friday for a five-year agreement from Everton, with a rumoured sum of up to 60 million pounds ($73 million).

The Brazilian international will give the Spurs front line more depth, but it will be difficult for him to unseat Harry Kane or Son Heung-min from their respective preferred spots up front and on the left side of the attack.

Tottenham will play a 50 million pound upfront price and an additional 10 million in performance-based incentives.

Richarlison joins Croatian winger Ivan Perisic, midfielder Yves Bissouma, and goalkeeper Fraser Forster as Spurs’ fourth acquisition of the summer window.

The London club has given Antonio Conte its full support after the Italian was awarded Champions League eligibility for the next season.

Tottenham announced in a statement that Richarlison had been signed from Everton, pending receiving a work visa.

The international player from Brazil has a contract with us till 2027.

Richarlison joined the Toffees from Watford in 2018 for 50 million pounds. In 152 appearances, he scored 53 goals.

Notably, six of those goals came in his Toffees’ last nine games, keeping them in the Premier League.

Everton faced pressure to sell while remaining in the league because of financial fair play criteria.

Over the last three years, the Merseyside club has reported 372 million pounds in losses.
