Tripura has asked the Bangladesh government to make it easier for businesses to shop in the state. They say this would help both countries’ businesses grow to a new level.
Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, the Finance Minister of the state, said that both countries would benefit if Bangladesh Industries set up shop in the state because the Indian government has eased some rules.
While that’s going on, BJP National President JP Nadda will be in Tripura for two days to speak at a party meeting in the state and to look at the party’s progress as an organization.
Sources say that preliminary work is being done to make Nadda’s first trip after becoming president a success. The dates haven’t been set yet.
