About Tripura TET:

The Tripura Teacher Eligibility Test (Tripura TET or T-TET) is conducted by the Tripura Teacher Recruitment Board (TRBT) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the teaching position in Tripura schools. The exam is done for two jobs: I and II. Paper-I is for candidates who plan to teach classes IV and paper-II is for candidates who want to teach classes VI-VIII.

Tripura TET Eligibility:

The basic Tripura TET 2021 eligibility criteria that candidates must meet are:

• Candidates must complete class 12^th with at least 50 percent of total grades
• Candidates must complete graduation with at least 50% of total grades (only for candidates applying for the Paper-II exam)
• A degree or diploma in teacher training.
• There is no prescribed age limit to take the T-TET exam

Essential Minimum Qualifications for Graduate Teachers (FOR CLASS: IX-X):

• Graduate / Postgraduate from a recognized university with at least 50% graduation or postgraduate degrees (or their equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) From an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)

• Graduate / Postgraduate from a recognized university with at least 45% graduation or postgraduate degrees (or their equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) From an institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) {according with the National Council for Teacher Training (Form of application for recognition, deadline for submitting the application, determination of norms and standards for the recognition of teacher training programs and permission to start a new course or training). Regulation of 2002 notified on 11/13/2002 and Regulation of the National Council of Teacher Training (Standards and Procedures of Recognition) of 2007 notified on 10/12/2007}.

• BA Ed. 4 years old / B.Sc. ED grade. from any institution recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Minimum Essential Qualifications for Graduate Teacher (FOR CLASS: XI-XII):

• Postgraduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% qualifications (or its equivalent) from a recognized university and Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.) From an institution recognized by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Training)

• Postgraduate degree with 45% grades in the relevant subject and B.Ed degree (according to NCTE regulations, 2002 or NCTE regulations, 2007) from NCTE-recognized institutions OR

• Postgraduate degree in the corresponding subject with at least 50% degree (or its equivalent) from a recognized university and BA Ed. /B.Sc. Ed. From any institution recognized by the NCTE (National Council for Teacher Training).

Note: (I) A relaxation of up to 5% in qualification marks will be allowed for candidates belonging to the SC / ST / PH category. (II) Only degree courses in Teacher Training recognized by the National Council for Teacher Training (NCTE) will be considered.

Tripura TET selection process:

The Tripura TET selection process includes the following stages:

• Application form: Candidates must first complete the Tripura TET application form on the official board website.
• Admit card: All candidates who have successfully applied for the exam can download their Tripura TET admission card from the official website.
• Tripura TET exam: Next, candidates must request their respective Tripura TET paper-I or paper-II
• Result: TRBT declares the Tripura TET result on its official website. All candidates who qualify for the exam receive the Tripura TET certificate according to which they can apply for teaching jobs in different schools in Tripura.

Tripura TET Exam Day Guidelines:

Important points for candidates to keep in mind on the day of the Tripura TET exam are:

• Candidates must not forget to bring their Tripura TET to accept card and proof of identity with valid and original photo to the assigned exam center.
• Candidates must arrive at the assigned test center at least two hours before the start of the exam. Any candidate who comes after the start of the test will not be able to enter the exam room, reports the official website
• Candidates may not bring the following items into the exam room:

• Candidates should not leave their seats until the exam is over.
• Candidates can only use a black pen to mark their answers on the question booklet or OMR sheet.
• Therefore, candidates cannot practice any groundwork on the OMR answer sheet. Candidates should practice groundwork only in the space provided along with the question booklet.
• Candidates must not be found by any unfair means in the examination room.

Since no pre-test document verification is performed, candidates must apply online in their own capacity in compliance with the T-TET 2021 eligibility terms and conditions.
