Pakistani “troops responded with a proper manner” and, as per intelligence reports, “terrorists were wounded,” according to the report.

The Tehreek-i Taliban Pakistan, a banned group (TTP), claimed the attack’s responsibility.

The acting Vice-Prime Secretary Abdul Salam Hanafi assured him that the Afghan soil would not be used against neighbors, including Pakistan.

The name also knows the TTP of Pakistan Taliban has been blamed for numerous devastating attacks in Pakistan, such as an attack against the Army base in 2009 and the headquarters of the army, as well as attacks on military bases, and the attack in 2008 on the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad.
