Two more people died in Singapore due to Covid19.

Another 17 cases were unrelated, and six imported cases were imported.

In total, 35 new cases of Covid19werereported in Singapore on Sunday, bringing the country’s capacity to 66,478 cases.

Currently, 346 people have been hospitalized. The Ministry of Health said that things are going well in most cases and are now being monitored.

22 patients are critically ill and require oxygen support, and seven critically ill patients are in the intensive care unit. Of those who became seriously ill, 23 are over 60 years old.

Of these, 18 were fully or partially vaccinated. The Health Departmentreiterates ongoing evidence that almost all fully immunized people do not become seriously ill when they become infected.

Unless they have underlying medical conditions that make them more susceptible to the disease, the Ministry of Health said the incidence or death rate of unvaccinated patients was 8.6%overthe past 28 days. In contrast, the rate of fully vaccinated patients was 1.7%.
