Two Terrorist killed in Shopian During Overnight Encounter

Srinagar: Two militants were killed in an overnight encounter with security forces in the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said on Sunday.
With this, the total number of militants killed in the meeting rose to three, they said.
Security forces participated in a shootout with militants in the Hadipora area, in the Shopian districts of southern Kashmir. A militant died on Saturday.
Two more militants were killed in the Hadipora operation, a police officer said.
According to the police, one of the killed militants was recently recruited and the security forces made sincere efforts to make him surrender.
“The parents also made appeals. But other terrorists did not let him surrender,” said Kashmir Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar.
