U.S. State Department warns Americans not to travel to Ukraine.

WASHINGTON: The U.S. State Department warned that U.S. citizens are traveling to Ukraine on Friday.

Especially those going to participate in the fighting run a genuine risk of being kidnapped or killed, and it would be impossible to evacuate them.

“They may be subject to possible criminal prosecution and may be at a higher risk of mistreatment,” said State Department spokesman Ned Price to reporters.
