The UPTET exam, which was delayed because of a leak in the paper incident, will be held on January 23rd, 2022. The test was initially scheduled to be conducted on November 28th.
The exam was later postponed following revelations of leaks in the paper. The government had announced that the dates for news examinations would be announced within a month.

Admit cards of the UPTET exam will be uploaded on the official website. UPTET examination will be posted via the UPTET official site on January 12th, 2022.

How many applicants will be appearing for the test?
A total of 21 lakh students are scheduled to take part in the test. An estimated 12,91,628 students have registered to take the exam in the first shift across the state.
Meanwhile, 8,73,553 registered to take part for the second shift.
Why was UPTET Exam 2021 aborted on November 28th?
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Exam (UPTET), conducted to hire teachers in the state, was disqualified last month due to leaks.
The Basic Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh Dr Satish Dwivedi, has said that the state government will hold the test again in one month and that the paper leak issue will be examined through the STF.
“UPTET 2021 examination has been canceled following information of paper leak. However, UP government will conduct the exam again within a month. Investigation to be conducted by UP STF,” Dwivedi stated.
The UPTET test was scheduled to be conducted in two shifts, from 10 am until 12.30 after the elementary level and between 2.30 pm until 5 pm for the junior level.
The primary test level was scheduled in 2554 centers across UP before a test for the higher primary level at 1754 centers.
