Vasundhara Raje Urged The Death Penalty For The Udaipur Killer

On Monday, former chief minister Vasundhara Raje questioned why Ashok Gehlot couldn’t bring peace to Rajasthan if Yogi Adityanath could do it in Uttar Pradesh after the horrible murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur.

She said that the state had developed a feeling of dread and insecurity that must be removed.

Ms. Raje called for the execution of the defendants in the case and supported giving the police force up-to-date training.

She said that the intelligence system had entirely failed.

After visiting the Kanhaiya Lal family at their home, Ms. Raje conducted a separate news conference.

“Despite Kanhaiya Lal’s concerns, the police did not provide him protection. If the police had provided him with protection, he would not have been slain. For Kanhaiya Lal’s murder, Rajasthan’s Ashok Gehlot administration bears whole responsibility “She said.

The Congress government, she said, has no right to continue holding power.

Why can’t Ashok Gehlot do it here? Ms. Raje questioned, “when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath can build peace in Uttar Pradesh by eradicating any climate of terror?”

Former BJP state president Ashok Parnami and other others joined her.
