Washington is going to sign QB Carson Wentz

Washington is going to sign QB Carson Wentz.

There are a lot of rumors about how the Washington Redskins and the Indianapolis Colts traded for quarterback Carson Wentz on Wednesday. The Colts gave up two third-round draught picks in the deal.

It’s said that Washington made an offer for Russell Wilson, who plays for the Seattle Seahawks.

On the other hand, Wilson will move to Denver in a deal with the Broncos that can’t be made official until March 16. So Wilson will move to Denver instead.

At the start of the league year, the Colts sent Wentz to the Commanders, making him the third team he’s played for in three years.

He was drafted No. 2 overall by the Philadelphia Eagles and started there.

There was a lot of turnover at quarterback for the Commanders, including Alex Smith, first-round draught pick Dwayne Haskins, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Taylor Heinicke. Wentz gives the Commanders a long-term starter after that.

Chris Ballard, the general manager of the Colts, didn’t say for sure that Wentz would stay with the team in 2022, even after they met at the NFL Scouting Combine.

People have to have someone they believe in and can win with at the end of the day.

Wentz, a 29-year-old quarterback, was the second pick in the 2016 draught. In 2017, he was a second-team All-Pro quarterback and almost won the MVP award.

But he missed the playoffs that year because of a knee injury. Instead, Wentz watched as Nick Foles led the Eagles to victory in the Super Bowl LII.

There was a report on NFL Network that the Indianapolis Colts might be interested in San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
