West Bengal: 99.09% ICSE students & 97.58% ISC candidates clear exam

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declared on Friday ICSE and ISC results for class 10 and class 12.

In West Bengal, 99.09 percent of class 10 students passed the test, while the passing rate was 97.58 percent for class 12 students. A total of 37,258 students from 382 ICSE schools participated in the test. ICSE exam, of which 36,920 were successful. CISCE said 25,058 students from 270 schools appeared on the ISC exam, of which 24,453 were successful.

However, the board did not publish a list of merits for the two exams due to the exceptional circumstances in which the results of the ISC and ICSE examinations were declared without pending examinations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee, congratulated the successful students.

“Congratulations to the batch of 2020 ICSE and ISC successful students this year. May the trauma you faced serve as a lesson for greater success in your lives. Applaud the teachers and parents for enduring the situation. Do well. May all your dreams come true, ”Banerjee tweeted.
