West Indies and Australia Players tested Negative for Covid 19.

All 152 people involved in the West Indies-Australia cricket series tested negative for the coronavirus, a day after the second one-day international match was postponed.

The match at Kensington Oval was called off after the draw when an unidentified non-player member of the West Indies team tested positive.

Both teams and the match officials returned to their hotel and were evaluated again. So were the event staff and television production crew.

“Cricket West Indies is pleased to announce that all 152 individuals tested for COVID-19 on Thursday night came back negative,” it said in a statement Friday.

CWI said it will speak to Cricket Australia, the Barbados government, and health officials about the resumption of the three-game series. The third ODI was scheduled for Saturday.
