What Do Guardian Games Work?
Like previous years, players will charge with completing specific tasks as mini-questions called the Contender Cards and Platinum Cards. However, these tasks are ad-hoc and don’t require you to log in at a particular time every day.
Completing Raids, Dungeons, and competitive PvP events like Trials of Osiris and Survival and the Seasonal Activity on a more incredible difficulty will award players with more prestigious medallions.
Drop-in content that you complete, such as Gambit, Vanguard Strikes, Quickplay Crucible, and Throne World games at the basic difficulty level, will earn you lower-level medallions.
Gold medals can be obtained by completing the Contender Cards with less complex tasks. The Platinum medals fall after platinum Cards are conducted for more complex tasks. Also, you’ll get trophies or awards in almost every activity you undertake.
This year’s new feature, however, it this year is Strike Scoring, which factors in the playtime only to be used in Guardian Games playlists. Additionally, there are Strike Medals awarded to players who have performed incredible feats in their gameplay, such as eliminating enemies using Shatter or another specific action or specific.
