Women’s Day: Lalit Kala Akademi holds all-women art exhibition

An exclusively female art exhibition was opened Monday to mark International Women’s Day at Lalit Kala Akademi, according to a statement.
Titled ‘Akshya Patra’, the exhibition at Rabindra Bhavan Galleries will continue until March 20 and will showcase more than 250 works of art from more than 12 countries, including those created by 29 talented artists who attended the National Art Camp for Women of Three days in Garhi. The multi-dimensional art show, showcasing works by older, young and budding practitioners of the art, has both Indian and international participants, as it brings to the fore contemporary, tribal, international and Avante Garde art practices around the world, themed around the many faces and benefactions. of Mother Nature, it said.

The Minister of State for Culture and Tourism, Prahlad Patel, opened the event.
