A drone was shot down near the India-Pakistan border

On Monday, BSF troops shot down a drone from Pakistan in Punjab’s Ferozpur sector.

As soon as it was 3 am, the BSF people heard the sound of something flying over from the other side of the border.

A BSF spokesperson said they then used “para bombs” to light up the area and shoot at the drone.

Also, they’ve taken a green bag that was attached to the drone. It had four yellow-wrapped packets and one black-wrapped packet, he said.

Suspected contraband has a gross weight of 4.17 kg, including the packing material.

The black-wrapped package weighs about 250 grams, a spokesperson said.

On Saturday, the Border Security Force in the Jammu area shot down another Pakistani drone near the border.
