Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase Announces Minecraft Legends

Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase Announces Minecraft Legends: Minecraft is now dipping its toes into a new genre, as announced at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase. Mojang will try its hand at an “action strategy game” with Minecraft Legends.

The player character was seen leading groups of friendly creatures into combat, so action undoubted.

Because it’s Minecraft, there’s some automatic construction, but it seems you’ll be able to build outposts to take a break from the activity. Although it’s odd to see Minecraft from the viewpoint displayed, there’s something exciting about commanding an army of traditional Minecraft creatures.

Legends, like Minecraft Dungeons, will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Because it’s a Minecraft game, it will be available on Game Pass from the start.

Minecraft Legends hasn’t given a specific release date, although it will be available in 2023. There was a long look at Redfall if you’re looking for additional announcements in Xbox first-party games.

If you like driving games, there was also some Forza Motorsport news. Finally, watch the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, which will unveil even more future games.
