Yas Cyclone 2021 Track Live Location Update: How strong will the cyclone be?

Cyclone Yaas will affect East Midnapore: According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the cyclone Yaas is likely to landfall near Bhadrak and Balasore in Odisha. Yaas, going to landfall on Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, the maximum temperature in Kolkata was 36 degrees Celsius on Friday, and the minimum was 29 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity in the air was at most 90 percent.

According to the weather office, strong winds of 45-65 km per hour may blow in the East Central Bay and the Andaman Sea from May 23. The maximum wind speed can be 75 km per hour. The wind speed will continue to increase from May 23. The sea can be rough due to the effects of cyclones.

Hence, the state Government banned all Fisheries from going to sea since May 23. Govt. advised those fisheries middle of the ocean all ready to return home by the morning of the 23rd.

Navanna is making all preparations keeping in mind the danger of cyclone Yaas. The administration is reluctant to take any risks after last year’s Amphan experience. The Chief Secretary of the state Alapan Bandyopadhyay says the government has also banned going to sea.

An emergency meeting was held at the Nabanna assembly hall to discuss the administrative arrangements for dealing with the storm. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself took part in the discussion over the telephone.

Will Yaas cyclone hit Kolkata?

Perhaps, the Yash storm won’t hit Kolkata directly. In the meantime, the cyclone will become stronger. Further, it will move towards Kaptipada and Khejuri in Odisha. The Yaas speed in Odisha may reach 150 km per hour to 190 km per hour at landfall. After that, the hurricane will lose its power.

Cyclone Yaas will probably make landfall amid Paradip and Sagar islands on May 26, Wednesday evening. As a very severe cyclonic storm, it may cause heavy rainfall in coastal districts of West Bengal and north Odisha.

Yaas cyclone speed in Kolkata may be similar to the speed of Amphan cyclone. The wind speed may reach 155- 165 kmph to 185 kmph.
