Zack Snyder’s Justice League trailer, also called the Snyder Cut, is here. The film was confirmed last year after a long campaign by the director’s fans, who condemned the theatrical version released in 2017.

As expected, Zack Snyder’s Justice League trailer offers fans plenty to chew on. Events unfold after Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice when Batman and Wonder Woman assemble a team of superheroes including Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg, in an attempt to save the planet from Steppenwolf. He also takes his hat off to the villains. If Lex Luthor’s “The God Is Dead” opens the trailer, it ends with a look at Jared Leto’s Joker. And that alone is worth the price of the ticket. Its epic feel, visuals, and tone promise a superhero movie that will delight DC fans around the world.

Still, it’s unclear if it will undo all of the film’s shortcomings. The plot, despite all the development of the main characters, still feels thin for a Justice League movie.

The Snyder Cut is supposed to be the original version of the film as envisioned by Snyder, who had to leave the film due to a family tragedy. Joss Whedon was hired by Warner Bros to finish post-production and re-film some scenes.

In addition to League itself, the film will also feature many supporting characters that did not make it to the truncated theatrical cut. Also, backstories of superheroes like Aquaman, Flash, and Cyborg weren’t present in Joss Whedon’s version of Justice League. As the trailer promises, everyone will be present in full at Snyder Cut.

It’s clear that the movie presents a lot of surprises for DC fans.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League is said to last four hours, which is twice the screen time of the original cut of the film that was released in 2017.

While it will launch in the US on March 18, it is unclear if it will be available to audiences outside of the country, as HBO Max is not available anywhere else at this time.
