Zoom features a whole new look to your video calls.
Zoom is planning to implement a new feature in its video conferencing software that enables meeting organizers to organize participants more engagingly and collaboratively.
First announced at Zoomtopia 2020, Immerse View enables a meeting host to bring participants into a scene to connect and collaborate in a virtual meeting space similar to how Together Mode works in Microsoft Teams.
Whether you want to create the feeling of being together in a classroom, office room, auditorium, or anywhere else you have a photo or video of, that can use the Immersive Zoom View. It can bring up to 25 participants together in one scene. Also, read Daiwa 4K UHD Smart TV launched in India.
Zoom Surround-view feature
To get started using Immersive View in Zoom, meeting and webinar hosts can select it by clicking the View button in the upper right corner of the application. From here, you can use the software to place participants in the scene automatically. Also, you can do it manually to add or remove participants as per your wish.
Once a meeting has started, hosts can quickly move participants around a scene and even resize a participant’s image for a more natural experience. A host can also return to speaker or gallery view at any time during a meeting.
While Zoom has provided users with some scenes to start with, they can also upload their photos to sets or even videos. It’s also worth noting that Immerse View is not yet available when using the software’s group rooms, and Immersive View recordings are not yet supported.
Spending all day using video conferencing software can be exhausting, but hopefully, Zoom’s new Immersive View feature can help break some of the monotony for those still working remotely.
