AAP's Bhagwant Mann To Meet Arvind Kejriwal

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)’s chief ministerial representative of Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, is scheduled to visit Delhi on Friday to meet with the party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal.

The party was able to win the Punjab elections and decimated the Congress and the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) combination.

In a meeting with reporters in Sangrur before heading to the country’s capital, Mann said that he was leaving for the capital city of India.

Mann stated that he would meet with Mr. Kejriwal and congratulate him on his party’s sweeping success in Punjab elections.

In response to a question about government formation, Mr. Mann stated, “I will meet the (Punjab) governor tomorrow. We will seek time from him today.”

Mr. Mann stated that the oath-taking ceremony would take place in Khatkar Kalan, the ancestral village of the legendary free-spirited Bhagat Singh in the Nawanshahr district.

Concerning the party’s massive victory in the polls, Mann praised the party’s success.

Mann stated, “The people defeated arrogant persons, and they made the common people victorious.”

Mr. Mann was elected from the Dhuri seat with a staggering majority of 58,206.

The AAP triumphed in 92 of the 117 Assembly seats. Many stalwarts like the chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi Parkash Singh Badal and Amarinder Singh lost to AAP candidates.
