This was the Punjab Chief Minister-elect Bhagwant Man’s first directive to Aam Aadmi Party’s new MLAs on Friday, following the party’s overwhelming win in the state.
“We must work in all the places we went to get votes. After being elected as the leader of the AAP Legislative Party, Mann stated that all MLAs should work in the areas where they were elected.

This formality was ahead of his swearing-in scheduled for Wednesday.
“We can have 17 ministers in the cabinet, plus the Chief Minister. There is no need to be upset.” He told the meeting of 92 MLAs, including himself, that they were all cabinet ministers.
This victory came just a day after AAP won a significant election win, securing 92 seats in the Assembly’s 117-member Assembly.
Mann, the party’s chief ministerial candidate, won the Dhuri seat by more than 58,000 votes.
Mann addressed the newly-elected MLAs and appealed for them not to get arrogant. He also urged them to work for all, even those who “haven’t voted for the party.”
“I appeal to you all to not be arrogant. Even if they haven’t voted for your cause, you must work. You are the MLAs for the Punjabis.” He said that they had elected the government.
After registering a historic victory in the Assembly elections today, Mann visited Arvind Kejriwal, chief minister of Delhi, and sought his blessings.
Mann also invited Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister, to the swearing-in ceremony. It is scheduled for March 16.
The AAP beat Punjab’s 60-year record for most seats won by a single party in elections that sent giants from all parties, including the incumbent Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Singh Channi, Congress chief Navjot Singh Singh Sidhu, and former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, to their home with pink slips.
