Bhagwant Mann, Punjab Chief Minister-elect, will swear-in today at Khatkar Kalan. This is the birthplace of freedom fighter Bhagat Sing.
The swearing-in ceremony will include Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi Chief Minister, and other top Aam Aadmi Party leaders.
The Aam Aadmi Party won a huge victory, winning 92 seats at the 117-seat Punjab Assembly.

Mr. Mann, who ran from Dhuri assembly constituency, Sangrur district and was contesting against Congress’ Dalvir Singh Goldy, won by a margin of 58,206 votes.
Bhagwant Mann invited the people from Punjab to the event, stating that he would take the oath and the 3 million people in the state.
“On March 16, in Bhagat Singh’s Khatkar Kalan, not just Bhagwant Mann will take the oath and become CM, but along with me, all three crore people of Punjab will also become CM. Together we will make Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s Rangla Punjab, “Mr. Mann said in a video message.
He also encouraged men to wear yellow turbans (basanti) and women to wear dupatta basanti (basanti).
Officials anticipate more than 3 lakh people attending the event. For the ceremony of taking the oath, elaborate security arrangements were made.
Officials claimed that close to 10,000 security personnel, including Senior Superintendent Police officers and Inspector General, were deployed for the event.
Due to the large crowd expected for the swearing-in ceremony.
