Maharashtra’s MLAs were invited to a meal tonight by Sharad Pawar, hosting a training programme in Parliament for leaders from all parties.

The training programme is for all the first-time MLAs in the country, sources say.

An influential Maharashtra Congress leader told the news agency ANI that the first-time MLAs elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly had been called to Delhi by the Lok Sabha Secretariat for two days, from April 5 to April 6. This is because the Lok Sabha Secretariat wants to give them an orientation.

To remember the event, we’ve also been having a dinner party.

He said that both of the meetings would be just for show.
