“Besides, no one was hurt. With the team, he did well. That’s why I think he’ll be fine for the game against Liverpool today.”

It was even clearer from Ralf Rangnick that Manchester United will be without five players when they play Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday.

Four players didn’t play for Manchester United in their last two games: Edinson Cavani, Scott McTominay, Luke Shaw and Raphael Varane.

During the first half at Goodison Park, Fred was taken off and stayed there for the Reds’ win over the Canaries on Saturday.

Rangnick told a press conference on Monday afternoon that all five of them are still out and won’t be able to go to Liverpool on Tuesday.
