China Faces highest daily Covid 19 cases since the outbreak.  

China continued to fight its deadliest Covid-19 outbreak on Tuesday (March 15, 2022), with the highest daily count since the epidemic began. 

In the previous 24 hours, China has reported 5,280 new coronavirus infections, with the worst-affected region being Jilin province. 

However, it is rushing to contain the quick spread of the Omicron BA.2 sub-variant of Covid-19.

In the northeastern province of Jilin, more than a third of the 2022 cases have been recorded.

According to the government’s announcement, all of Jilin’s 24.1 million citizens are forbidden from traveling out of or into the province or between various areas within the region.

The authorities have also placed at least ten cities and counties under the Covid-19 lockdown, including the tech metropolis of Shenzhen, which has a population of over 17 million people.

Due to the newest Covid-19 outbreak, the high-tech Shenzhen city has closed all neighborhoods and villages and suspended bus and subway services from Monday through Sunday.

China’s efforts to contain the country’s worst Covid-19 outbreak in two years have caused enterprises ranging from Apple supplier Foxconn to automakers Toyota and Volkswagen to halt some operations, causing supply chain delays.

After dozens of new local incidents, Shenzhen, also known as China’s Silicon Valley, conducts widespread testing.

China is on the verge of the worst Covid-19 crisis since Wuhan.

So far this year, China has reported more local symptomatic Covid-19 cases than it did in all of 2021. 

In the last week, new Covid-19 infections have been reported in Beijing and Shanghai, China’s two most populated cities, and the coastal provinces of Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Zhejiang.

According to research, China is on the verge of experiencing its worst Covid-19 crisis since Wuhan. The coronavirus is claimed to have started in Wuhan in December 2019 and then spread to practically every country on the planet.

Schools have been closed in Shanghai, China’s most populous city, with 24 million people. At the same time, provinces continue to fight the Omicron variety.
