Bhagwant Mann, the new Chief Minister of Punjab, will meet with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Thursday (March 24, 2022). At around 11 a.m., the two leaders will meet for the first time.
Following the recent assembly elections in five states, Mann will meet with the Prime Minister for the first time. His party, AAP, won a landslide victory in all of them. Last week, Mann was sworn into office as the state’s leader.

If you are unsure what the AAP leader wants to discuss, consider it a “courtesy call.” Mann had tweeted that he had requested a “courtesy call” from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah to discuss issues in Punjab.
They had talked on Twitter on March 16, when Modi congratulated Mann on becoming Punjab’s CM and thanked him for being the leader of the AAP.
“We are happy for Bhagwant Mann, who has become Punjab’s new CM. Will work together to help the state of Punjab grow and help its people, “He tweeted.
Mann said, “Thank you, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji,” and then he went on to say that.
There were 177 seats in Punjab, and Mann’s AAP won 92 of them. The Congress, which was in charge of the northern state before, only won 18 seats.
Mann, who was running in the Dhuri Assembly constituency in Sangrur district, beat the leader of the Congress party, Dalvir Singh Goldy, by more than 58,000 votes.
Bhagwant Mann held his first cabinet meeting when he became chief minister of Punjab. He agreed to give 25,000 jobs to young people in government departments, boards, and corporations.
Mann also said that the state government had begun making 35,000 government workers who work on a contract a permanent part of the government.
Another thing he did was set up a helpline for people who want to fight corruption in the government and different departments, such as schools.
