Digital preorders unlock Modern Warfare 2’s campaign early: Even if the number of Call of Duty players has decreased. There is still much excitement for Modern Warfare 2 later this year. If you’re having trouble waiting, there’s good news: if you preorder the game digitally, you can start playing the campaign a week early.
The Twitter handle for Call of Duty made the news. It said clearly, “Digitally preorder Modern Warfare 2 and start the campaign up to a week early starting October 20.”
Given that the whole game debuts on October 28, you’ll have plenty of time to play the entire campaign if interested. The tweet also contains a little film with action shots in various urban and rural settings that demonstrates what to anticipate from the campaign.

Participants will first use the new Marina Bay Grand Prix course map.
Later that weekend, PlayStation players may join in, and soon after, a crossplay beta will start on additional platforms.
The complete game will then launch on October 28 after the campaign’s early access on October 20.
