The Archon is Call of Duty: Vanguard's last Zombies segment

The Archon is Call of Duty: Vanguard’s last Zombies segment: The long-running Zombies mode in the genre has a new narrative arc that Call of Duty: Vanguard began. It will conclude with the game next season.

The archdemon Kortifex has been a menacing presence since Vanguard Zombies were made public. It will finally be time to confront him directly.

Treyarch, the creator of Zombies, announced the information on Twitter. However, it is clear from the news that Kortifex must perish.

“The Archon’ marks the end of Season 5 of Vanguard Zombies.” Treyarch stated that the last chapter would be round-based in a subsequent tweet, which should please devoted players.

Since just one map in the current Zombies mode has played out in that manner. It’s possibly partly to blame for the series’ decline in popularity since last year.

Der Anfang, the first mission in Vanguard Zombies, included numerous goals that moved the squad ahead gradually; only the last one functioned similarly to the mode’s round-based origins. Terra Maledicta debuted the Decimator Shield marvel weapon after Der Anfang.

The third map was Shi No Numa, imported from its original home in Call of Duty: World at War. Again, many gamers were happy to see a return to the original game’s round-based survival system.

Fortunately, The Archon will be continuing on that pattern, and when Kortifex himself shows up, the last round is going to be exciting.

Call of Duty: Vanguard Season Five, which has no set release date yet, will include The Archon. On Wednesday, August 24, Season Four will end, and new seasons often begin right after the previous one ends.

However, Treyarch hasn’t made formal statements on the timeframe, so we’ll have to wait for confirmation.

Season Four offers many exciting things to experiment with in the meantime. We have a breakdown of the greatest Vargo-S loadout in Vanguard and Warzone, and Operator Ikenna Olowe can unlock for both of those titles.
