Former CD Projekt RED employees formed Rebel Wolves: Many big game studios are beginning to see their talent leaving in a mass. This could be due to various reasons, including burning out or dissatisfaction with the direction taken by an individual studio.
The game designers have set out to establish game studios of their own. The most recent of these studios, Rebel Wolves, composed of Polish game designers.

The team members who work at Rebel Wolves have experience in the video game industry. They’ve worked on games like The Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077.
It makes sense to realize that the team comprise of members of previous CD Projekt RED employees. Director Kondrad Tomaszkiewicz, was also the head of Witcher 3. The studio was shut down last year after accusations of bullying. Rebel Wolves marks his return to the gaming world.
He said to IGN, “I could not be more pleased to have come together with other friends who are also passionate about this. We’re working on a video game we’d like to play as games can create.”
The game is an interactive fantasy game build upon Unreal Engine 5. His comment suggests studios like CD Projekt RED and the Polish developer Techland make use of crunch in the development of video games.
