France unveils new steps to limit the spreading of COVID-19.
Paris: French Prime Minister Jean Castex has announced measures to stop covid-19’s growth. Covid-19 during the holiday season and has urged French citizens to observe the precautions during holidays.
Amid the fifth wave of the pandemic, which “continues to affect France and more than 50,000 cases every daily severely,” Castex announced that starting on January 3rd, 2022.
However, they will take the booster dose in four months instead of five months following the Xinhua news agency’s second dose.
“A proposed bill would be filed in January, transforming the health card into a vaccination card,” he announced, noting that “only vaccinations will be accepted on the pass.”

The prime minister added that authorities would “tighten restrictions and penalties for fraudulent passes.”
As the holidays approached, Castex requested French citizens not to visit overcrowded places.
