India and China agree to work on a solution to LAC issues soon.
On the Indian side of the border, the 15th session of the China-India Corps Commander Level Meeting was held on Friday at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting site.
The two sides continued their talks from the last round, which took place in January, to resolve the critical concerns along the LAC in the Western Sector.
According to the official statement, both sides held a detailed exchange of views on the de-escalation of forces around the LAC, in line with the State Leaders’ guidance to resolve the outstanding issues as soon as possible.

According to the statement, both India and China emphasized that such a settlement will help restore peace and tranquility along the LAC in the Western Sector and facilitate bilateral ties advancement.
In the meantime, the two sides agreed to maintain security and stability in the Western Sector.
The neighbors also agreed to keep in touch through military and diplomatic channels to seek a mutually acceptable settlement to the remaining concerns as soon as possible.
