India Won Bronze Medal in Tokyo Olympic 2020 by beating Germany 5-4 Goals.

The last time India won gold was at the 1980 Olympics. That was India’s last great success on the world stage. Then wait 41 years. That wait came to an end with Sreejesh’s hand. After 41 years, India won a medal in Olympic hockey.

However, the Indian hockey team defeated Germany 5-4 in the third-place match on Thursday, the bronze medal match. India’s fight against Germany was not easy at all. The Germans took a 3-1 lead at one point in Data.

First, Germany went ahead with one goal in the first couple of minutes of the match. Simranjit Singh equalized in the 17th minute. The Germans then took a 3-1 lead with two goals in a row in the 24th and 25th minutes.

But India did not give up even after falling behind by two goals. Rupinder Pal Singh and Manpreet went on a counterattack. As a result, India was equalized with two goals in a row.

Team India went ahead at the beginning of the third quarter of the match. This time Rupinder Pal Singh scored a great goal from the penalty corner. India scored again after three minutes and ahead of 5-3. Therefore, the Germans scored another goal in the fourth quarter of the match.

Meanwhile, after the 80’s Olympics, India was slowly falling behind in hockey. The fight that the Indian team started with Rupinder Pal Singh, Mandeep Singh, in the hands of Mandeep Singh, was finally recognized.

However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has described the success of the Indian hockey team as historic. It is India’s fifth medal at the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
