IPL 2022: RCB defeats CSK by 13 runs; supporters mock MS Dhoni's team

Chennai Super Kings are on the verge of elimination after losing by 13 runs to Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL’s seventh match in Pune on Wednesday.

A group of people who were asked to bat came up with a score of 173 for 8 when Mahipal Lomror hit 42 off 27 balls. Virat Kohli, Faf de Plessis, Dinesh Karthik, Rajat Patidar, and Dinesh Karthik also made essential contributions.

There was a 50 by Devon Conway (56) at the top of the order, but CSK only reached 160 for 8 in 20 overs.

A healthy Mooen Ali took two wickets, and Dwaine Pretorius took a single for CSK in the 19th over.

Glenn Maxwell (2/22) and Harshal Patel (3/35) both took two wickets for RCB, making them the best bowlers in the game.

There was a big win for RCB, which moved them up to fourth place on the points table. CSK, which was still in last place, was pushed closer to being eliminated.

Now, MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings have a lot of work to do to get into the playoffs. They also need a lot of good luck.

CSK is having a bad IPL 2022 season. When Dhoni stepped down as captain just two days before the start of the IPL 2022, Ravindra Jadeja was chosen to lead the team. When the team lost six of their eight games, Jadeja felt under a lot of pressure that he couldn’t handle, so he gave the captaincy back to MSD.

It’s been a long time since people have talked about how CSK is not as cool as it used to be. The field results aren’t good, either.

CSK has four games left, and they will want to win all of them to make sure they stay in the tournament, even if it’s just a little. Even more critical, these victories will boost morale and help the team finish the tournament on a high note.
