Ireland has secured their place in the T20 World Cup on Tuesday by securing the 56-run victory against host Oman at the semi-finals of the Qualifier.
After securing their seventh straight appearance in this year’s World Cup, Ireland will play Ireland against UAE in the Qualifier final at Muscat this Thursday. The UAE has also been confirmed to play in their place in the World Cup.
India, in the meantime, will fly to England in July to play the fifth and final Test, which was rescheduled for the 2021 series.
It was initially scheduled to be played in Old Trafford in September 2021 before the presence of Covid-19 in players of India; the backroom squad caused the postponement.
The Test will be followed by the T20 and an ODI series from 7 and 17 July.
