Leeds United contracts Spanish GK Joel Robles on a free transfer.
Spanish goalkeeper Joel Robles has joined Leeds United on a free transfer, the Premier League team announced on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old has agreed to a one-year deal with the club after leaving Real Betis at the end of the 2021–2022 season.
“I believe this is a terrific choice for me to keep progressing,” Robles said. “There are very good supporters here, and a very strong team as well.”
Robles, Leeds’ ninth acquisition during the current transfer window, will face off with Kristoffer Claesson and Illan Meslier for the team of Jesse Marsch’s goalkeeper position.
