Light Novelist Overlord Claims The next volume’s draught exceeds 700 pages.

Light Novelist Overlord Claims The next volume’s draught: Overlord author Kugane Maruyama announced on Twitter that the latest version of the light novel’s 15th volume has more than 700 pages.

The 15th volume divides into two parts, and Maruyama tells those who love this book series that he’s working to ensure that the books are out shortly.

The post-word to the series”14th volume” stated that all light books would conclude with volume 17. 

Volume 14 released in Japan on the 12th of March 2020. The volume is yet to publish in English.

Maruyama first released the novels as serials in 2010 with illustrations by So-bin, through the novel publishing site Arcadia. And the website for novel publishing that users create Shosetsuka Ni Naro. 

Enterbrain was the publisher of the series after it acquired Shosetsuka Ni Naro in 2011.

The manga adaptation created by Satoshi Oshio and illustrated by Hugin Miyama publish within Kadokawa Shoten’s Comp Ace magazine in 2014.

Light Novelist Overlord Claims The next volume’s draught

The manga has accumulated 15 volumes collected through its entire run.

Furthermore, an anime adaptation of the show created by Studio mental hospital was first shown during the summer season of 2015. 

Three seasons of 13 episodes have been shown, with the fourth to announce in May 2021.

 Naoyuki Ito ( No Guns LifeRe: Cutie Honey) directed the show, and Yukie Sugawara ( Kaguya-same: Love is WarThe Irregular at Magic High School) acted as the scriptwriter.

A film series set to take on the Holy Kingdom Arc was announced in conjunction with the 4th season.

 There is no release date as of now. However, the mental hospital has previously had two film recaps, The Undead King and The Dark Warrior, in 2017.

Yen Press publishes light manga and novels in English. 

Funimation licenses anime in English, the recap films, and the OVA from 2016.
