Manuel Neuer has set a new Bundesliga record for most top-flight victories. After Bayern Munich’s 4-0 win over Union Berlin, Neuer broke Oliver Kahn’s record of 311 victories.
Neuer (35) set a record when Bayern beat Union on Matchday 27, making a lot of good saves to get his 150th clean sheet for the Reds in the Bundesliga. On the 460th time the nine-time champion played in Germany’s top league, he won 311.

The first 77 victories came in 156 games for Schalke, where Neuer was born and raised. Then, he became the world’s best goalkeeper during a decade-defining spell at Bayern, where he has now won 234 out of 304 Bundesliga games.
He smashed Kahn’s record in record time. During the last matchday of the 2007/08 season, Bayern CEO and Neuer’s predecessor as goalkeeper and captain won his 310th and last game, beating Hertha Berlin 4-1.
He broke Kahn’s Bundesliga record for clean sheets with 204 for Karlsruhe and Bayern, but he did well in over 100 games, more minor than that. He is now apparent in front with 211 clean sheets.
